Well this weekend has been interesting. Sarah IMed me this morning and asked if I would go with her to see Mitch perform in "Side by Side" because I'm from Charlotte and know my way around the place. So since I had nothing to do for the whole day I agreed to go. Well we got to Charlotte around 6pm or so and the show didn't start till 7:30pm. So we decided to walk around downtown for a little bit. We went to the Bank of America building, Founders Hall, and then we made our way to Spirit Square to see the play. Along the way there I saw a man and he walked up to me and said "Hey buddy, how would you like to make a long term investment in my dinner?" Politely I turned him down (Partially because I was scared out of my mind), so he then asked me "Ok, how bout a short term investment?" I had to laugh at that, at least he was persistent, but again I had to turn him down and kept on walking. Later that night Me, Mitch and Sarah went by Mitch's hotel room in Gastonia and man did this place ever look like the armpit of the world. When we got there as soon as we stepped out of the car I could smell marijuana. And low and behold there were people on the second floor stairwell smoking a joint. Then some crackhead started yelling out "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!" So all of us bolted inside to safety, got our stuff and left. As we were walking out we passed to crackwhores, and so we jumped in the car and we were outta there like a bat out of hell. Man that place was the scariest mess I have ever been through. Charlotte, What a town!
